when challenged, she feels hurt and misunderstood.

Cherry-Picking

Cherry-picking is the term often used for using evidence selectively according to the direction of the result. Thus some homeopaths select the positive trials of homeopathy in an attempt to convince others of the value of homeopathy. Cherry-picking is a sign of pseudoscience or even fraud. The correct way to present evidence is on the basis of all the available and reliable data.

Chiropractor

Many chiropractors employ a range of treatments, including homeopathy, particularly those in the USA. Their understanding of medicine often seems bizarre. A good example is this recent quote from an American chiropractor:Homeopathy can be the perfect complement to chiropractic care. It can correct the energetics (including the genetics) of the deepest areas of the body, mind, and emotions, where the hands of the chiropractor can’t reach.
